What's Changing and Why

Since 2018, federal law has defined hemp by its delta-9 THC content: no more than 0.3% by dry weight. That rule is why we've been able to sell THCA flower and hemp-derived Delta-9 edibles online.

Late last year, Congress rewrote the definition of hemp, which takes effect December 11, 2026. Starting that day, two big things change:

• All THC counts, including THCA. Hemp is measured by total THC, not just delta-9. THCA flower, prerolls, vapes and concentrates are well over the new limit.
• A 0.4 mg cap per container. Finished products can't contain more than 0.4 mg of total THC per package. For comparison, one 5 mg gummy is more than 12 times that limit.

Products over these limits no longer count as hemp under federal law. They're treated as marijuana, which we can't legally sell or ship.

This isn't a store decision. It's federal law, and it applies to every hemp retailer in the country.

What This Means for You

Ordering and shipping

• Shop as usual until Friday, December 11 at 9:00 AM ET.
• Orders ship the next business day by USPS Priority and usually arrive within 2–5 business days.
• No shipping on Veterans Day (Nov 11) or Thanksgiving (Nov 26). Plan ahead, especially for holiday gifts.
• Free shipping on orders of $125 or more.

Loyalty points

• Earn points through Wednesday, November 11. Orders placed through 11:59 PM ET that day still earn points.
• Use your points through Friday, December 11 at 9:00 AM ET. You can still redeem every point you've saved, and points work alongside any promo code.
• Unused points expire after December 11. They can't be refunded or exchanged for cash.
• Check your balance anytime in My Account. Every 10 points = $1 off.

Could the Date Change?

There's a small chance. Congress already delayed the deadline once, and it could act again before December 11. Nothing has been decided.

If the deadline is delayed, we'll keep offering our hemp-derived THC products and email everyone on our list as soon as we know. Join our email list so you don't miss it.

Until then, please plan on December 11 being the last day.

Stocking up? Keep it fresh:

• Flower and prerolls: airtight container, somewhere cool and dark.
• Edibles: sealed in the original child-resistant packaging, away from heat. Store in the fridge for a longer shelf life.
• Vapes and carts: upright, at room temperature.
• Check each package for its best-by date.
