What is THC Syrup?
Delta 9 syrup is a liquid cannabis edible (a.k.a. “drinkable”) infused with Delta 9 THC. It’s usually made with nano-emulsified THC which allows more accurate dosing, as well as allows our bodies to absorb more of the active THC than the typical edible. Delta 9 syrup is designed to be consumed orally by mixing into beverages or being ingested directly.
How long does it take for THC syrup to take effect, and how long do the effects last?
The onset of effects from Delta 9 THC syrup typically occurs within 15 to 30 minutes after consumption, with peak effects reached around 1 hour post-ingestion. Effects typically last between 2-4 hours.
It is important to note, however, that individual responses will vary based on factors such as metabolism and dosage, so it’s essential to be patient and mindful of personal tolerance levels.
How is THC syrup consumed?
Cannabis syrup can be consumed by either ingesting it directly or mixing it into beverages. This provides users with the flexibility to adjust their dosage and experience according to their preferences. Whether taken alone or mixed, Delta 9 THC syrup offers a convenient and customizable method of THC consumption.
How should Delta 9 syrup be stored?
It’s best to store Delta 9 THC syrup in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve its freshness and potency. Delta 9 syrup is rather shelf stable and does not require refrigeration, however, storing THC syrup in a refrigerator may further extend the shelf life. Try keeping it in its original container if possible.
What effects can I expect from Delta 9 syrup?
Delta 9 syrup is intoxicating and consumption can induce physical and mental relaxation, euphoria, and altered perception, similar to other THC-infused products; more specifically, edibles. Keep in mind each person’s experiences can be vastly different depending on factors including metabolism and dosage.
Can I mix THC syrup with alcohol?
We do not recommend mixing Delta 9 syrup with alcohol, as THC can significantly increase blood alcohol levels. We do, however, recommend using THC syrup as an alternative to drinking alcoholic beverages, as you can customize the dosing of your THC infused drink/s and start to feel its effects shortly after drinking, similar to alcohol.
Is THC syrup suitable for beginners?
Delta 9 syrup can be suitable for beginners, but it’s essential for new users to start with a low dose and gradually increase as needed to avoid overwhelming effects. If you are new to cannabis syrups, we recommend starting with 5mg of THC and waiting at least 1 hour before consuming any more.
